    Scott began his Martial Art training in Warragul in 1985 before moving to the Goulburn Valley in 1987. He trained Karate in Shepparton until 1992, before joining the Numurkah Goju Ryu Karate Dojo, under the expert guidance of Michael Doyle Sensei, where he continues to train regularly.


    Scott has travelled to Okinawa, Japan, on many occasions to refine his skills under the guidance of Shigotoshi Senaha Sensei (9th dan) and Takehiro Gaja Sensei (9th Dan). Achieving a current 5th Dan in Okinawan Goju Ryu Ryusyokai and 4th Dan in Matayoshi Kobudo.


    Starting Brazilian JiuJitsu in 2008 to compliment his Karate, he then transferred to Gracie Jiu-jitsu in 2009. Scott first travelled to Gracie University in Torrance, CA, USA, in 2014. He has since travelled there a further 12 times to train and complete the many Jiujitsu certification programmes and lifestyle summits that Gracie University has to offer.


    Scott has undertaken private lessons with Professor Ryron Gracie, Professor Rener Gracie and many of the head Instructors at Gracie University and was awarded his black belt by Ryron & Rener Gracie in Torrance CA. Completing the Gracie University Instructor Certification Program (ICP) in 2015, Scott strives to lead the way with his own personal development by continually pursuing & completing the Gracie University curriculum. This includes BBS1-4, PBS1-4, and GST (Gracie Survival Tactics for law enforcement/1st responders) 1 & 2.

    All of our instructors are certified with the peak industry body of Martial Arts Australia and in addition are authorised via Gracie University system
